Linen Love

I love linen, but it wrinkles so easily.  I swear this jacket was smooth as silk before I put it on.

Anyways, I had been looking for some polka-dot pants suitable for summer. I have a black and white pair from Free People (last seen HERE) which I love, but velour isn't really summer material.

Linen jacket c/o TJ Maxx (loving this one) // Gap pants // Shoemint heels // Bracelets: Baublebar, Thrifted //  Necklaces: Forever21 and Thrifted // Aldo chain link bag (old, similar here and here) // Mom's sunnies (love these

Warby Parker

If you know me, you know charities and giving back to the community is very important.  I often feel selfish purchasing new clothes, knowing there are many people out there who can't afford them. When I learned about Warby Parker's "Buy a pair, Give a pair," I thought this was a purchase I could feel good about.

There are nearly one billion people who don't have access to affordable glasses.  I don't know about you, but with the way my eye sight has deteriorated, I can't imagine living without glasses/contacts.  According to statistics, glasses can even increase one's income by 20%.

Next time you are in the market for new sunglasses, which should be now, since summer is finally here, please consider Warby Parker.

Here are a few of my favorites:

Aldous in English Oak is my top pic from their summer collection.  I love the oak color - it's a fun twist on the more traditional tortoise shell frames. Shop more HERE.

These Gatsby-esque glasses are from their limited edition 1922 Collection. We can't all have the thrill of playing opposite Leonardo DiCaprio, we can pretend. Click HERE to see more of this amazing collection.

Color Block Craze

I hope everyone is having a great weekend! I stopped by my cousins on Saturday night for a dinner party.  The weather was gorgeous and food fantastic.  Later on we made a fire and hung out until the wee hours of the morning.  Well...11 PM.  I like to live on the edge, obviously. ;)

I scored this clutch on major sale form Francesca's.  I stepped out of my comfort zone by wearing all of these bright colors together.  I'm more of a neutral or pop of color gal, but I think this worked.

Tangerine tank (old, similar here and here) // Gap boyfriend jeans // Chinese Laundry flats // Francesca's Clutch (similar here and here) // Invicta watch (love this one) // Jewelry:  Baublebar and Asos
